Alpha Phi Omega, Spring 2001

Alumni Update

Dave Hanneke graduated from CWRU this spring and is headed to Harvard to pursue a PhD in Physics.

Gloria Garver (nee Hsieh) is now a third year physician assistant student. She will graduate next spring and recently celebrated her second anniversary with Jake. Also, if anyone is road tripping out to the East Coast and wants to pop in for a visit, feel free to let her know. All are welcome! Her place is a great hopping point to NY City.

Rebecca Mays, Alumni Secretary

I hope you enjoyed this issue of the Theta Upsilon Post Office. But perhaps you did not. There is just something missing and you can’t quite put your finger on it. Oh wait, it’s information about you! We would love to keep all of the Theta Upsilon family updated on your life. Maybe you got married, you just got the job of your dreams, you want to share the service you’re doing in your community, or you just want to share your insights on APO life with current brothers. As alumni secretary in Spring of 2001 I was charged with keeping a delicate balance: that between annoying you with petty details of college life you no longer care about and staying out of your life completely. For every alumnus the level of involvement preferred is different. So, if you feel under- or over-involved with Theta Upsilon, please let us know. If you would like on or off of apo-discuss, apo-announce, and apo-alumn email lists or would like to be more involved with the next alumni event or newsletter, please email me at rlm12@po.cwru.edu or find the current alumni secretary on our web site at http://home.cwru.edu/apo/. Thank you!
