The Marfan Syndrome is a life-threatening connective tissue disorder. It can affect the eyes, skeleton, skin, heart, and lungs. Early detection of the disorder is vital because with Marfan Syndrome, the aorta can grow so large that it tears (dissects), which can cause death.
National Marfan Foundation website: www.marfan.org. The Foundation is committed to providing support for those with all types of connective tissue disorders, educationing communities, and funding research for treatment and a cure.
My favorite APO events are: Every single fellowship event, service projects that have to do with nature (trail cleanups, nature centers), and CPPC!
