Awards
The awards are as follows.
All nominations will be read by the Awards Committee after being sent to the Chair. You may include your name if you wish.
If you wish to nominate either of the Awards Committee Chairs (Kevin or Kari) for an award, please use the special forms.
Brother of the Semester
This award is to be given to a brother or neophyte who has best exemplified
Leadership, Friendship and Service in this academic semester.
Pledge of the Semester
This award is to be given to the pledge who has best exemplified Leadership,
Friendship and Service in this academic semester.
Theta Upsilon Leadership Award
This award is to be given to a brother who has shown outstanding leadership
qualities within the chapter. It may be presented more than once in a chapter
semester, or not at all in a chapter semester.
Theta Upsilon Fellowship Award
This award is to be given to a brother who has shown outstanding fellowship
qualities within the chapter. It may be presented more than once in a chapter
semester, or not at all in a chapter semester.
Theta Upsilon Service Award
This award is to be given to a brother who has done outstanding service within
the chapter. It may be presented more than once in a chapter semester, or not
at all in a chapter semester.
Distinguished Service Key (DSK)
This award is to be given to a brother who has given exemplary service to the
chapter. It may only be awarded to a brother who has been a member of Alpha Phi
Omega for 1 full year from the date of initiation. Unlike most other awards,
the DSK is presented to the chapter for approval.
Certificate of Appreciation
This award is to be given to a person who has done a significant act for the
chapter or its members, but is not a member of this chapter. Unlike most
awards, this award is presented to the chapter for approval.
